In respect of orders placed through the Website, these General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply regardless of how you access the Website. You must read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale carefully. By placing an order through the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale in their entirety. If you do not, agree you must not order any product or service through the Website.
OPENING AN ONLINE ACCOUNT AND PLACING ORDERS
To place an order, you can open an account with us which will require you to provide some compulsory personal information.

You confirm that all information and details provided by you to us (including on registration) are true, accurate and up to date in all respects and at all times. You can update or correct your details at any time by going to Your Account.
It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your password and account information. Coving and Mouldings shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of any failure by you to protect your password or account. Should you become aware of or suspect any unauthorised use of your password or account, please contact us. If Coving and Mouldings is suspicious of any fraudulent activity coming from your account, we reserve the right to deny access.
ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER
Please note that completion of the online checkout process does not constitute our acceptance of your offer to purchase products or services from us. We will notify you by email as soon as possible to acknowledge that we have received and are processing your order. Our acceptance of your order will take place only when we take payment from you and despatch the product(s). Prior to despatch of the product(s), Coving and Mouldings has the right to decline an order for any reason, including legal and regulatory reasons.
The duration of our contract with you will start from when your order is dispatched.
In relation to Custom Made orders amendments and cancellations cannot be accepted once production has commenced.
If we cannot supply you with the products ordered, we will not process your order, inform you of this via email and, if you have already paid for the product or service, refund you in full as soon as reasonably possible.
PAYMENT
During the checkout process, you will need to enter your payment details. By completing your payment details you confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours and not that of a third party. All fields indicated as compulsory must be completed. Please note that we may collect and store your information, using an encrypted secure payment mechanism and will only use your information in accordance with our Privacy and Cookie Policy.
All card payments are subject to authorisation by your card issuer. We take full payment immediately for all products ordered, should you wish to purchase identical products for a gradual refurbishment/installation project we advise you to buy these no more than a few weeks in advance, as this will ensure any adhesives ordered will arrive well within their “use by date”.
All products ordered will remain the property of Coving and Mouldings until we have delivered them to the address specified by you. If your payment is not received (reversed payment by your card provider) and you have already received the products you ordered from us, you must pay for or return those products to us in accordance with our reasonable return instructions and in the same condition that you received them at your own expense. If you do not do this within 30 days of the date Coving and Covings reserve the right to implement legal action.
DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
Delivery (including delivery charges and timescales)
Delivery charges and timescales vary depending on the quantity of materials ordered, the service you select and the delivery address. The majority of order will be delivered within 2-3 working days. If we anticipate a delay one of our customer service advisors will be in touch to inform you about anticipated delays.
Shipments can only be made to a UK address with the correct post code. If no one is available at a residential or other address at the time of delivery our couriers will attempt re-delivery once. Please note there is only going to be one attempt at re-delivery before your order is returned to the warehouse. Any subsequent additional shipping costs may be chargeable.
Free delivery applies within the UK on orders over £350 online in a single order delivered to a single address.
All risk in the products you order (including risk of loss and/or damage to the products) will pass to you once they are delivered to the correct delivery address specified on your order.
We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver products if the delay or failure is wholly or partly caused by circumstances beyond our control.
CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER
Any changes to your order must be notified to us in writing and within a reasonable time. Typically, your orders will be processed and packed by 11:00am on the next working day. If you amend or change your order after this time you may find there are changes to your delivery timetable and we may need to charge an additional sum for shipping and/or repacking you order).
YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
If you are contacting us as a consumer online or by phone, you have the right to cancel (under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (the “Regulations“)), all or part of your contract at any time up to 14 calendar days after the day on which you receive the goods or services you ordered. This statutory right is separate from our goodwill policy.
Any paid delivery charge will be included in your refund once we have received all (not part) of your order to the specified address below. Please note that the delivery charge refund will be to the value of standard delivery.
If you wish to cancel (or are considering cancelling) a product you have ordered from us, please be aware that statutory rights of cancellation under the Regulations may not apply to certain items such as adhesives which are close to their use by date.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision to cancel the contract in writing within 14 calendar days after the day on which you receive the goods or services you ordered, which you can do by filling in the parcel summary when you return your order.
You must take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession. You shall send back any goods or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from the contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back any goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning any goods to us.
Products should be returned in or with their original packaging.Coving and Mouldings may require that you print off Collection Paperwork to ensure that our carriers have the relevant documentation to uplift returned goods.
We regret that we can only arrange collections from UK addresses, and that good purchased in the UK cannot be collected outside of the United Kingdom’s boundaries.

Products lost or damaged in transit
If you choose to return any products to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to them in transit and, therefore we recommend that you choose a recorded delivery service or recognised carrier. If returned products are lost or damaged in transit, we reserve the right to charge you (or not to refund any amounts attributable to) such loss or damage.
Returns by own courier?
Items returned by courier will have to be returned at your cost unless in accordance with your statutory rights.
Damaged or incorrectly supplied products
You should check all products you receive against your order. If the products you receive are damaged or incorrectly supplied on delivery then you must notify us with 48h. In these circumstances customers may be asked to take digital photographs of any damages (and email them to us) as this will help us handle your claim. Incorrectly supplied products will be collected by us. We may offer you a replacement product and any refunds given by us will be made to the debit/credit card account applicable provided when you placed your order and will be subject to our right to withhold amounts for products which are damaged on return or for which we arrange collection (such as adhesives), as outlined above.
YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS
In addition to our goodwill policy, you also have statutory rights. In addition to the cancellation rights noted above, these include that the goods you purchase are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Within 14 days of the delivery, you may exercise the right to a refund if the product purchased is not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described. After the 14 day period, but within six months of the date of delivery and where the product is faulty, you are entitled to a replacement or where that is not possible, or the replacement does not resolve the fault, a refund. After six months of the date of delivery, similar rights exist, but only if you can prove that the fault was present at the point of delivery.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
We have tried to ensure that prices quoted on the Website are correct and that all products have been accurately described. However, when ordering products or services through the Website, please note that:

- All Orac products can be bought as individual lengths with exception of Durofoam mouldings which are supplied in box quantities only.
- the weights, dimensions and capacities shown on the Website are approximate only;
- whilst we try to display products accurately on the Website, the appearance when installed will be subject to the consistency of installation;
- all items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the product(s) or service(s) you have ordered are not available and we may offer alternative product(s) or service(s) of equal or higher quality and value.You agree that you will not use, sell or supply any product(s) purchased from Coving and Mouldings in an unlawful manner .Customers are advised to ensure that all coving and mouldings are stored horizontally (to avoid any potential distortion before installation). We recommend that adhesives are stored in conditions of at least 5℃. You must follow any advice we give you to keep products we supply to you safe (including any instructions or product manuals provided with the products). We cannot accept liability for damage to products we have supplied which is caused by your failure to follow this advice.
In any event we will not be liable for any losses related to any business of yours including (without limitation) lost data, lost profits, lost revenues or business interruption. Any delayed shipment or damaged goods are factors outside of our control. We cannot entertain claims for lost labour on site, but would respectfully ask critical orders to be placed at least 10 working days prior to installation.

Most data we collect is stored indefinitely. This is too allow us to provide a better service to you as a customer in the event that you contact us again for repeat order.
