Once an order has been placed it cannot be changed. Should you change your mind after the order has been processed, you will have to go through our returns procedure (listed below).

It is the end consumer’s responsibility to ensure that the goods ordered are suitable for the intended purpose/installation.

The goods are considered to be accepted and shall be dispatched at the buyer’s risk.

All force majeure occurrences relieve the seller of his responsibilities (such as natural disasters, flooding, fire, strikes and lack of delivery vehicles).

All orders are to be paid for prior to shipping.

The buyer should inspect the goods within one working day of delivery and notify the seller within this time of any defects which a thorough examination would reveal. The buyer shall not be entitled to reject the goods due to damage in whole or in part after more than working day from receipt of delivery.

The seller will not be liable for damages assessed after acceptance of the goods, except when the buyer establishes proof that the damage is due to a defective workmanship in the factory. The seller’s warranty is limited to a period of 1 year and, to the choice of the seller, to a replacement of the goods or refunding of the relevant items.

The seller will not be liable for any damage due to improper use, poor installation, improper maintenance or neglect by the buyer or any third party. The laws of England and Wales govern this agreement.


Returns Policy

Please note that we do not accept returns on items that have been made to order (such as special paint finishes for exterior use). Customers are advised to use our sample service before making any purchase to ensure the suitability of the product before any order is processed.

Notify us within 2 weeks of you receiving your purchase. Please note that we don’t accept returns after 30 days. If you choose to return goods please email us with a full list of product codes, and quantities to [email protected] (do not return goods to our Horsham address as the warehouse is not at this site).

Coving and Mouldings is data controller and processor. We use a password protected data management, email and accounting software to hold our data. Our passwords meet the required security standards. Our printed documentation is held securely.

We will NEVER without your express consent provide your personal information to any third parties for the purpose of direct marketing.

We take your privacy very seriously. We do not sell your data to third party organisations. There are a few scenarios where some of your data may be shared with third parties to allow us to provide our services to you. These include:
• Delivery and Postage Service Providers to allow us to send you documentation and orders you have placed. (Information shared includes Name, Address and in some case e-mail address / mobile number)
On request we can provide copies of Privacy Policies of the respective suppliers.
• Law Enforcement and Legal Requirements – we will provide data to law enforcement agencies if issued with a court order to do so

FOR HOW LONG YOU THE DATA STORED?

Most data we collect is stored indefinitely. This is too allow us to provide a better service to you as a customer in the event that you contact us again for repeat order.
We are legally obliged to store some data for a certain amount of time, for example sale order records, payment records etc. (at the moment the periods are up to 10 years)

HOW CAN YOU ACCESS YOUR DATA?

You can ask us for a copy of information we hold about you. We require this request in writing You can also ask us to erase some or all your information under certain conditions:
