CX101 Scuplted Egg and Dart Coving

The CX101 coving is an ornamented version of our popular CX100 design. This extruded cornice design has a gentle sculpted egg and dart detail embossed on the lower tier of the moulding. Victoriana at an affordable price, and particularly suited to standard height ceilings. Can be cut within our FB13, and fitted by any comptent DIY enthusiast or trades person. Use one tube of FDP700 for every 8 metres of coving. One tube of FX400 will be sufficient to make good joints on 80 metres of cornice.

Recommended Adhesives

We recommended the use of FX400 and FDP700 Orac adhesives along the length of our profiles to ensure a good installation. On smaller Orac profiles being installed onto dry walls and ceilings (where any new plaster has had at least 6 months to thoroughly dry out) FDP500 can be used to fix mouldings, and FL300 can be used as a filler, which is especially useful for smoothing off external corners (once FX400 has cured) and on joints with uneven ceilings.
