Orac C820 Xterio Cornice

Our C820 ogee cornice was created to bring architectural detail to the eaves of larger New Build homes in the Home Counties.

Each length of C820 eaves cornice is 200mm high x 160mm projection x 2400mm long. Production started after we had numerous enquiries for an “off the shelf” eaves cornice with matching accessories.

Typically choose C820 where the lead-times on GRP alternatives are too long, or where the site require a simple fixing system that does not require specialist glassfibre trades. Unlike the standard low maintenance alternatives the Xterio cornice range can be fitted by any skilled tradesmen. All that is required on site is a hand or chop-saw.

Each C820 is supplied in RAL 9003 white, and we also offer matching corners and stop ends.

Choose from the C820A for 90 degree external corners, C820B for 90 degree internal corners.

For neatest results install the cornice with ORAC FDP700 adhesive. One tube should be sufficient for 3 lengths of cornice. Apply FX400 joint adhesive to all joints. When pieces are joined leave the overspill for one hour before removing with builders wipes. Do not leave any joints uncleaned for longer than 2 hours as the glue can harden, making removal difficult.

Like all the rest of the Orac Xterio range this product benefits from a 10-year conditional warranty.

Recommended Adhesives

We recommended the use of FX400 and FDP700 Orac adhesives along the length of our profiles to ensure a good installation. On smaller Orac profiles being installed onto dry walls and ceilings (where any new plaster has had at least 6 months to thoroughly dry out) FDP500 can be used to fix mouldings, and FL300 can be used as a filler, which is especially useful for smoothing off external corners (once FX400 has cured) and on joints with uneven ceilings.
