Orac C392EP Xterio Cornice

The C392EP Xterio cornice is supplied in 2 metre lengths. Each piece is 190mm high x 100mm projection. The C392EP is typically installed on substantial new build detached properties. This profile can be reversed to give a 190mm projection and 100mm high detail, in this case the eaves overhang needs to be approximately 230mm wide, and allow 130mm clearance above the window reveals.

You may wish to order our FB300 mitre box to assist in cutting neat mitres for each corner.

Fix the lengths of C392EP back to the wall and soffit using our FDP700 adhesive. Each tube should be sufficient to install 3 to 4 lengths of cornice. Join the elements together on site with our FX400 adhesive. Leave the glue to cure for one hour before removing with a spatula. Any remaining residue can be cleaned off with acetone or industrial wipes.

This Modern 2 metre long cornice is suitable for external applications. Choose the C393EP to embellish the eaves on substantial detached homes. Our C392EP steps exterior cornice is suitable for use on properties designed to display either an Art Deco or Contemporary style.

Recommended Adhesives

We recommended the use of FX400 and FDP700 Orac adhesives along the length of our profiles to ensure a good installation. On smaller Orac profiles being installed onto dry walls and ceilings (where any new plaster has had at least 6 months to thoroughly dry out) FDP500 can be used to fix mouldings, and FL300 can be used as a filler, which is especially useful for smoothing off external corners (once FX400 has cured) and on joints with uneven ceilings.
